IMGL Belgrade 2026 takes the iconic Kolarac concert hall
The iconic Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment has stood at the heart of Belgrade’s cultural life since 1932, hosting some of the most significant musical events in the region’s history. Its atrium, with its classical proportions and quiet grandeur opened its heavy doors to the networking dinner of IMGL 2026. The evening opened with a cocktail reception in the atrium, showcasing Belgrade’s unique architectural character, its blend of Central European formality and Balkan warmth.
What followed in the concert hall was designed with one intention: to give an international audience their first genuine encounter with Serbian cultural heritage as a living tradition. Across sixty minutes of programme, guests experienced folkloric, string and a cappella performances presented in sequence, each distinct in character, each rooted in a musical culture that our guests never encountered before. The programme
was curated and produced to flow as a single coherent experience – the kind of cultural immersion designed to entertain luxury travel advisors whose professional instinct is to find experiences their clients cannot find anywhere else. The evening closed with a cocktail dinner back in the atrium, powered by winery La Gora and Delta Hospitality – a return to the warmth and informality of genuine networking. The protocol of the night – the sequencing, the transitions, the management of ninety guests across two spaces and three distinct moments – was handled with the precision that occasions of this register demand. Belgrade had made its case – not through a presentation or a sales pitch, but through an evening that spoke entirely for itself.
