A Night To Remember: AVIA’s Heritage Evening at the White Palace

Last night, the quiet grandeur of White Palace in Belgrade became the setting for gala dinner that brought together 150 C-level representatives of AVIA International from across the globe, offering them an immersion into the very soul of Serbia.

The event, conceived and delivered by DMC Vekol, was officially titled the Serbian Heritage Evening — putting elegance and tradition in conversation, rather than tension.

Where Heritage Meets Haute Cuisine

As the evening’s host, I had the honor to unfold the experience as a choreographed journey across four distinct regions of Serbia — each announced with its own artistic performance, each paired with a dish designed by Filip Ćirić, Head Chef and MasterChef Head Judge.

Northern Serbia opened the journey, accompanied by the rhythms and costumes of the Pannonian plains. Western Serbia followed, together with Eastern Serbia arriving with mystical ancient energy of the Carpathian east. Southern Serbia brought the evening to its emotional peak, carrying the warmth and fire of the Serbian south, acknowledged personally by AVIA International President Mario Tonini who addressed the auditorium.

For AVIA International, Serbian Heritage Evening was more than an annual gala dinner. It was a demonstration that Serbia, positioned at the crossroads of East and West, carries a culture rich enough to hold a room of global leaders in genuine wonder.
